Wow God, you want us Whole and Healed…
But not a minute before it’s time. There is a divine time for everything, just as Ecclesiastes states. It’s all about the process. The progression. The promise. God has a meticulous and precise way He moves when it comes to our healing. He purposefully bring things to us. Allowing old the old unmanaged issues to surface. With such unmanaged issues God brings the provision alongside them to facilitate the new place that we will one day call our healing of them. We may find it many seasons after the initial incident occurred, that we are prepared to finally step into a safe place to begin to allow those things to have a voice and support.
As tough as it may be for us to begin traveling the road to face these hurts and traumas again, the space between is needed so that they don’t further break us, or worse break us all over again. The pain this time is more a catalyst towards our healing because we have had time to associate to it differently than before. The shock value has changed. We have space to allow it to be what it was. We are better equipped to handle looking it right in the face to begin examining all that it is, all the places it has been with us and all it touched in our lives. The beauty of this divine timing is that God will place people in our lives that may not have been there during whatever happened, but are here now to help us understand, place things into perspective, and walk with us into wholeness and healing.
